Several first-round picks will get their first professional basketball experience this week with the start of the NBA Summer League. There will be a total of 76 games from July 7 to 17.

First selection overall, San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama is not with the club in Sacramento. Alabama’s Brandon Miller, the No. 2 overall pick, will play for Charlotte in Sacramento.
Amari Bailey, Nick Smith Jr, and James Nnaji are also on Charlotte’s roster. Players such as Lakers guard Jalen Hood-Schifino (Indiana) and forward Maxwell Lewis (Pepperdine) and Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski (Santa Clara), and big Trayce Jackson-Davis (San Diego State) are also in action (Indiana). Jalen Slawson and Colby Jones of the Kings and Jaime Jaquez Jr of the Heat are also making their first appearances in the NBA.
Some second-year players are also competing, such as Keegan Murray of Iowa for the Sacramento Kings, who was last year’s Summer League MVP. Blake Wesley of the Spurs, Max Christie and Scottie Pippen Jr. of the Lakers, Nikola Jovic of the Heat, and Mark Williams, Kai Jones, and Bryce McGowens of the Hornets are all in the mix as second-year players.
Utah, Philadelphia, Memphis, and Oklahoma City will all play each other twice throughout three nights in Salt Lake City.
