The Fall Series of the PGA Tour continues with the Shriners Children’s Open. Its participants include two of golf’s rising stars – Tom Kim and Ludvig Aberg. Here are our 2023 Shriners Children’s Open betting picks.
Even though Kim is the reigning champion at TPC Summerlin, everyone’s attention will be on Aberg as he tries again to win his maiden Tour event after coming up short in a five-person playoff last week.
Betting Analysis and Predictions
With his recent victory at the Omega European Masters, his impressive performance for Europe in his Ryder Cup debut, and his undoubted skill, Ludvid Aberg (+1,200) has been the talk of the golfing world for the past several months. According to sports betting tutorials and news sites, his streak will continue this week.
His recent success continued last week with a runner-up performance at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Also, he is again back in the field seeking his first PGA Tour victory.
Along with incumbent champion Tom Kim (+1,100), who has also been performing admirably, he now has the best odds. He has seven consecutive T24 results, including a T6 on the DP World Tour.
At betting odds of +2,200, Cam Davis is now third on the leaderboard. Since the 3M Open in July, he has made four Top 10 finishes in his past five outings (including a third-place performance at the Fortinet Championship).
Fourth on a sports betting site is Si Woo Kim at 25/1, and fifth is Eric Cole at 30/1, both from bet365. Martin Laird, the champion in 2019, is competing and is priced at 90/1.

Aberg’s ball-striking brilliance went from Italy to Mississippi, putting any concerns about weariness at the Country Club of Jackson to rest. Fantastic from tee to green, the 23-year-old gained 12 strokes in the competition and placed in the top 10 in several categories.
